crockpot applesauce

this is literally the simplest and most delicious "recipe" - if you can even call it that - i've concocted thus far. 4 ingredients and 4 hours later - bam!

no further explanation needed.

crockpot applesauce

you'll need...
8-10 apples, peeled, core removed, and cut into slices
1 cup water
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
cinnamon to taste*

then you'll have to...
combine all ingredients.

cover and set crockpot to cook for 4 hours on "low."

use potato masher to crush apples once finished cooking.

sprinkle with cinnamon and serve!
(or save for later)

store in airtight container in refrigerator for 3 - 5 days

*i'm a big fan of cinnamon sticks lately so i've been throwing 2 into the crockpot instead of using ground cinnamon. either works.
